| Scenario 1: Configuring metadata for files/folders Eva Smith is a Senior Marketing Analyst, one of a group of staff in the Marketing and Brand Protection Branch of the Department of Nice Things. She is responsible under the information and recordkeeping policy for the capture of records into the corporate electronic document and records management system (EDRMS), which has been integrated into the common office application software and email system operating in the Department. The Department of Nice Things has core recordkeeping controls such as a business classification scheme (sometimes referred to as a file plan) and a current disposal authority. The Records Manager, John Doe, is responsible for the initial configuration and set up of the EDRMS, managing its ongoing use, managing users in the system, and undertaking recordkeeping actions.
