Archives New Zealand's Continuum - Create and Maintain programme provides guidance to public offices on effective records management.
A cornerstone of this programme is the Continuum Resource Kit. The Resource Kit is based on the standards Archives New Zealand is developing under the Public Records Act 2005 as well as the principles in the International Standard on Records Management (ISO 15489). The products in the Resource Kit can be used by public offices to achieve standardisation and quality systems. For example, we have developed the following resources:
Archives New Zealand has a development programme in place for Continuum and releases new standards, guides and fact sheets regularly.
